Built for decades, guaranteed for five years.
Every Nader piece is backed by a five-year structural warranty. Plain English version below — what's covered, what's not, and how to make a claim if something goes wrong.
What's covered.
The warranty covers the structural elements of your piece — the parts we built, with the hardwood we sourced, in the workshop. If any of these fail under normal residential use within five years, we repair or replace at no cost.
- Internal frameWood structure, joinery, glue points and load-bearing junctions.
- Springs and suspension
- Joinery and hardwareMortise-and-tenon joints, screws, brackets, leg attachments and any concealed hardware.
- Manufacturing defectsAnything we built incorrectly — visible at delivery or that develops within the warranty period.
What's not covered.
In plain English: anything outside the frame, or anything caused by how the piece is used after it leaves the workshop. We make the structure last fifty years. The fabric and finish are yours to look after — and we have a care guide that helps.
- Fabric, leather and finishWear, fading, pilling, fabric stretching, or pile crushing over time.
- Stains and spillsWine, coffee, food, ink, oil, makeup, pet accidents — anything that landed on the upholstery.
- Foam and cushion fillSettling of feather-blend cushions (this is normal — fluff them weekly), foam compression from prolonged use, or damage from over-stuffing.
- Customer-caused damageScratches from pets, tears from sharp objects, burns, cuts, water damage, accidental impacts, attempted DIY repair, modifications, or any damage from misuse.
- Sun and humidity damagePieces placed in direct sunlight for prolonged hours, or in environments outside normal residential humidity (40–55% RH). We deliver to humidity-tested rooms.
- Commercial useUnless the piece was specifically commissioned for commercial use under a trade contract, the warranty applies to residential use only.
- Normal wear and patinaFull-grain leather develops a patina. Velvet pile shifts. This is the material doing its job, not a defect.
- ModificationsAny disassembly, reupholstery, or modification by anyone other than Nader voids the structural warranty on the affected piece.
